Our Story

Welcome to Blue Abiding Farm, our family owned & operated farm in beautiful north central Idaho!

Our story first began when Daniel, as a teen, dreamed of someday running a blueberry farm since he really enjoyed growing blueberry bushes in his parents' garden. When we were married a few years later, we talked about having our blueberry farm one day in the future, Lord willing. Fast forward many years and four precious kids later, and we now cultivate about 1 1/2 acres of blueberries and strawberries, along with beautiful flowers, and assorted veggies and fruits. We even enjoy making several varieties of sourdough sandwich loaves that we sell as well.

Because we believe in being good stewards of the land God has given us, we choose not to use any synthetic pesticides, herbicides, GMOs, or other chemicals we consider harmful. We also believe that nourishing the soil will in turn nourish the body, and we work hard as a family to grow delicious, nutrient rich food.
